CANNABIMIMETICS & ECS

Cannabimimetic

Our line contains natural cannabimimetic oil.  Cannabimimetics are a general class of compounds found in nature that bind to the CB1 or CB2 receptors (image bottom of the page) similar to what  CBD in cannabis does, these compounds offer a pharmacological effect similar to CBD . While these compounds are not cannabinoids, they act similarly and can aid in encouraging the Endocannabinoid System (ECS) functions. These phytoextracts can act as receptor agents and can be involved in aiding inflammation, calm stress, cancer, and neuroprotection. Cannabimimetics, are not found in cannabis nor hemp but  can be found in plants such as coneflower (echinacea), electric daisy, liverwort, turmeric, rosemary, cacao, thyme, and black pepper just to name a few. One of the most well know cannabimimetic (CBM) is the Cone flower also know as echinacea. Non of our CBM ingredients are from Hemp nor Cannabis but from a variety of plants, mushrooms, fruits and adaptogens.

Benefits may (may help) include:

Our labeling denotes the total mg amount of the active cannabimimetic in each bottle, however, our cannabimimetic blend offers additional cannabinoid-like molecules.  If all properties are to be considered, the total benefit factors change the total mg count.

100mg bottle = 126.80mg total cannabimimetic and cannabinoid-like molecule total

150mg bottle = 190.20mg total cannabimimetic and cannabinoid-like molecule total

300mg bottle = 380.40mg total cannabimimetic and cannabinoid-like molecule total

600mg bottle = 768.80mg total cannabimimetic and cannabinoid-like molecule total

1800mg bottle = 2282.40 total cannabimimetic and cannabinoid-like molecule total

Your pets' body creates its own cannabinoids and by adding our cannabinoid-like molecules to their daily intake, you are supporting their overall well-being and could be adding to their longevity. Our proprietary blend of oil works with your pet's own system, synergistically, to help maintain a strong ECS.  Our ingredients are chosen for their efficacy and you will never find a "filler" in any of our products.

The Endocannabinoid System (ECS)

The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is responsible for regulating balance in a body. Most creatures, including vertebrates and invertebrate, have an ECS which produce their own innate cannabinoids known as anandamide (AEA) and 2-arachidonoylglyerol (2-AG). Our proprietary oil blend contains nutrients/compounds that can help your pets ECS. In addition, MCT oil (fractionated coconut oil) offers a rich nutritional profile and possesses a healthy ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, which helps to boost the ECS.

Many creatures need help by adding additional cannabinoids/cannabinoid-like compounds from outside sources. Science has shown synthetic cannabinoids do not work well and using a full-plant molecule complete with a healthy terpene profile can be much more effective than a single (isolated) molecule can, as the entourage effect offers the highest efficacy. For an oil to offer the optimum benefit it should contain full-plant properties including terpenes. All of our ingredients are full-plant based and we strive to use the purest ingredients, which are all human grade.  Yes, you can even eat the treats yourself!

Endocannabinoids and their receptors are found throughout the body: in the brain, organs, connective tissues, glands, and immune cells. In each tissue, the cannabinoid system performs different tasks but the goal is always the same: homeostasis.

Terpenes

Terpenes are naturally occurring compounds present in trace amounts in several plants including flax, mangos, citrus peels, lemongrass, and cinnamon. Terpenes have been cultivated for thousands of years, in part because they uniquely interact with the ECS. In order for the ECS to work optimally, terpenes are just as important as cannabimimetic oil. Terpenes are proving to be one of the most healing compounds found in plants, and we utilize them to the fullest.

Science is starting to show the importance of terpenes, which is something we are thankful for as we have known about their benefits for over a decade. All of our products are formulated to use the optimum terpene profile and we are moving towards condition-specific formulations, using specific terpenes for specific ailments.
